Making a Difference!

The Madeira business district community is unique to the Cincinnati area and has many amenities to offer to the residents of Madeira. The task at hand for the chamber is to be able to communicate information about the great businesses to the residents of Madeira, as well as bring in new customers to show them how great it is to shop and live in Madeira.

The Madeira Chamber of Commerce is proposing the following enhancements to the City of Madeira to better promote and support businesses:

·         Gateway Signage to promote business or community activities.

·         Directional signage to promote better flow of traffic to the businesses in City Center and/or on Montgomery Road locations.

·         Complete streetscape in Central Business District with signage, lighting and sidewalks to facilitate people wanting to walk within the Central Business District.

I’m pleased to say that for 2010 we are again focusing on the following:

·         Retaining our current membership and adding new members.

·         Increasing economic development by working closely with the city and local businesses to attract new business development to Madeira.

·         Developing new and expanding existing programs for the success and growth of our local businesses at a lower cost to participate in the events.
