The meeting was called to order at 12:16 pm by Vice President, Steve Shaw

President’s Report
· Chris was not able to attend; Steve Shaw led the meeting.
Vice President’s Report
· Thank you again to BRUEGGER'S for providing lunch.
· Reviewed the results from the Madeira Centennial Criterium Bike Race held on Friday, June 25th. We would like to make this an annual event.
Secretary’s Report
· Melissa was not able to attend; Greg Goetz reported.
Treasurer’s Report
· Money in the bank not allocated = $0.
Committee reports
· Membership – YTD currently 274 members, 132 new members, 108 local.
Last 30 days 13 members, 11 new 3 local.
· Leads Exchange - the next Leads Exchange Luncheon is Wednesday, July 21 and will be hosted by Melissa Greenwell of Stock Yards Bank & Trust at Madeira City Hall, 7141 Miami Avenue.
· Lunch-n-Learn - the next Lunch-n-Learn Wednesday, July 28 will be hosted by Michael Loban of InfoTrust and will discuss Search engine marketing, and social media.
· Madeira Farmer’s Market – 800 to 1,000 people per week are attending the event. Traffic flow is getting better, but the crosswalk at Choo Choos appears to still be an issue. The Farmers Market is still looking for additional sponsors. Co-Marketing with the Madeira businesses was a topic of discussion.
· Summer Sidewalk Sale – (38) businesses have signed up for the event. Each participating business will have a sign and balloons supplied by Kroger’s. We will have Yard signs through out the City and a street banner on Euclid and Hosbrook. We will have a Sticky Note ad in the Saturday, July 24 Enquirer and a Section Front ad in some local news papers. We will have 5,000 Flyers / Map with a complete listing of all businesses and call outs for specials.
· Street Dance & Family Fest - The Chamber will have a booth at the Street Dance, contact us if you would like to participate. If you want your own booth the cutoff is August 2 to get your application in to the City of Madeira. The Chamber will again provide Street Banners and Yard Signs to promote “Shop – Dine – Dance the night away”.
· Health Fair will be called “Commit to be Fit! – From your waistband to your wallet, improve your physical & financial health at a FREE event in Madeira for Families and seniors. The event will be on Saturday, October 16 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Madeira Middle School.
Event sponsors are: Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Hospice of Southwest Ohio, New York Life and Interim Healthcare.
Other participating businesses are: Arthritis Foundation, Barefoot RnR, BioWheels Bike Shop, Camargo Personal Fitness, Fifth Third Bank, First Financial Bank, Grand Assistance Senior Home Care, Kroger / The Little Clinic, Madeira Optical, The Nutrition Niche, Pilates Bodys, PNC Bank, State Farm Insurance, and Stock Yards Bank & Trust.
Not too late to get involved - the Chamber will be sending out an email to other potential businesses that might want to participate. If you want to participate, we need your signed invoice & check by August 6, 2010 … the earlier you sign up, the more exposure your business will receive through our advertising efforts!
